What is Aqua Therapy

Aqua therapy is a type of physical therapy that is performed in the water. Aqua therapy differs from traditional physical / physio therapy in that it uses the resistance of water instead of weights to improve strength, endurance and overall health/fitness. The goal of aqua therapy is to rehabilitate a patient after an injury while avoiding additional weight or repetitive trauma actions on the injured joint.
